I did a stupid thing and filed my mother in law’s taxes under my account. It keeps getting rejected because the AGI doesn’t match 2019 taxes (which was mine). I talked to a rep with turbo tax and he said to just input her AGI for 2019 and make a new account to file mine but that did not work. They were rejected again. I need help or advice on what I should do. Thanks!

When did she file 2019? If it was late in the year or she mailed it, try putting in zero for the AGI. And see, https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/what-if-i-entered-the-correct-agi-and-i-m-still-ge...

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

@VolvoGirl She filed early in 2019. She has never used turbo tax before. I entered her 2020 taxes into my account and submitted them and they have been rejected twice now because it’s comparing her info to my info from past taxes.
