I have completed the federal tax and trying to complete the state tax. I am not able to choose Texas as my state. And therefore turbo tax doesn’t let me send as is. Help!

I am a US civilian citizen that has been working for the armed forces in a foreign country. All the time I have chosen Texas and completed my taxes. I no longer work and now just a resident in the country I am trying to complete my last tax for the armed forces.

You need to say that you only want to file a federal return. You're done!

I tried to skip the state but after I do, I still says state info missing in the end of my taxes and kicks me back to the beginning of the state tax process. I select skip state again and the same thing.

Texas does not have a state income tax to be completed.

Go through your return and verify that you have  not entered TX in any of the state sections of W-2s or 1099's because that could generate a state return, even though TX has no state income tax.

Or

Just delete the state and say you do not wish to prepare the state return.

I removed the state from “my info” page. Went through the whole process again and still I get this. 

My address is foreign. I inputted the foreign zip code. And like mentioned, I removed the state. So what else can I do?

When editing your personal information, you'll go to 2. Tell us the state(s) you lived in and select Foreign or U.S Possession from the drop down list (it's all the way at the bottom).  This should allow you to proceed with filing your return.  For step-by-step instructions, refer to the following Help Article:  How do I enter a foreign address in TurboTax?

I have done that. But still it asks me for my state and zip at the end.
