I finished my return with Turbotax Deluxe. And after paying, prior to filing I returned to correct items. Accidentally I chose to upgrade to Turbotax Self Employed.

When I was about to file, after having use Turbo Tax Deluxe and made my payment. I reviewed some items and accidentally upgraded to Turbo Tax Self-Employed and system will not allow me to erase and downgrade back to Deluxe.

Since you have already paid for the Deluxe edition the tax return cannot be cleared and started over with a less expensive edition.

You will need to contact TurboTax support so they can assist you in removing the Self-Employed edition.

Why they are charging me 129 dollars for a service that I did not request, the only service that I accept that I request was the charge of 64 dollars for filling  the state... it does not make sense that I am only going to receive 515 dollars and I am going to request a service of 129 dollars and not only that when they added they charged me 229 to the truth that they are thieves because they say it is free and I don't know where the hell they keep taking money from me the last time I used their service for abusers to you protection is not It makes sense that he is going to receive 515 and have to pay him 229 thieves

@Joselo It sounds like you started in the Free Edition and entered information that caused you to upgrade to a paid version.  When you use a paid version of the software you pay for the federal return and for the state return.   And then if you choose to pay those fees by having them deducted from your federal refund, there is an EXTRA "refund processing fee" to have that service from a third party bank.  If you have not yet  paid or filed, you can abandon the account and use the Free File software on the IRS site.

If your TurboTax fees are higher than expected, you can reduce them by removing add-ons:

• Remove Premium Services
• Remove MAX Defend & Restore
• Remove a state
• Remove PLUS Help & Support
• Remove Pay With Your Refund
