Ugh--- do not get tempted by the offer to pay from your federal refund or it will charge you an extra $40 refund processing fee.

I have been on the phone with TurboTax for the past 2 hours, getting transferred to various departments and there has not been any resolution to this issue that has been reported by many in this forum and external forums. It is absolutely ridiculous that TurboTax has been having this issue for the past 3 yrs and is not able to address it. Last year they charged my credit card 4 times and I was still not able to efile. This is an absolute nightmare and IRS should be informed about the lack of cooperation from Intuit and TurboTax.
I had to try 3 times to apply the payment for the state filing before it brought up my credit card information where I needed to add the security code. IS this what you are running into?
If you still experience the issue, please call Customer Service and tell them you have a "block payment issues, possibly due to billing or an invalid license" and the agent should be able to help you. Here is how you reach customer service: Turbo Tax Customer Service
This was not an invalid license! Did you read my post? TurboTax has been having this issue for 3 years now and is forcing people to pay for the state e-filing through refund where they overcharge. The solution is to call [phone number removed] and pay by phone the $25. Then you go back to TurboTax, use the Help menu from the top left corner (not the top right corner), use the Pay by phone option that would take you to a screen where you get a Serial Number. Provide that serial number to the sales representative and they will give you a "State eFile Confirmation Number" that you enter in the respective field. Then you are ready to submit the efiling. I was lucky that after 3 hours of being on the phone with terrible Customer Representatives, I got an excellent rep in Missouri, who was able to assist me.
No, this was not my issue. I was able to enter all information required for the credit card. I tried four different credit cards and TurboTax was not able to validate any of them. This has been a known issue for the past 3 years and TurboTax still hasn't address it. I wonder if this is a deliberate act so they can overcharge when the tax payer uses the payment for e-filing through the refund. It is unacceptable the lack of support, the terrible customer experience one is subjected to and the lack of care on Intuit. I will be reporting this further.
Stop removing the correct number to address this issue. Eight seven seven five five nine eight eight two four.
