If you bought a CD only to realize you don't have a CD Drive, you can always contact our Product Support Department. After verifying proof of purchase and product codes, they can push a download of the same product directly to your account.

If you bought a CD only to realize you don't have a CD Drive, you can always contact our Product Support Department. After verifying proof of purchase and product codes, they can push a download of the same product directly to your account.

How do I contact the Product Support Department?  What's the phone number?

 

Wouldn't it be a good idea for you to include the contact number with the original post addressing what we should do if we don't have a CD drive?

I bought Turbo Tax CD but I do not have a CD drive on my computer.

That's OK—you can download your software directly from TurboTax. But, keep in mind, you can't use both the CD and the download. You must use one or the other.

 

Follow these instructions to download the software:

 

  1. Go to installturbotax.com.
  2. Select Create account if you don't already have one. If you do, sign in.
  3. Enter your license code in the pop-up window.
    • It’s a 16-character combination of letters and numbers (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) that can be found on your CD box insert, envelope, or packing slip.
  4. Select your operating system, then select Get download.
  5. Download your software and install it.
    • When you get to the Your product is installed, now let's activate it screen, enter your license code in the License code box, then select Continue to complete installation.
