@dprkmr You are seeing an experience that has been reported and is being worked on. Please see this link for additional updates: TurboTax CD/Download W-2 box C not showing ampersand(&) correctly
I have sent a diagnostic copy. Token number 902364. Thank you !! Do you need the folder info?
@slawso Thank you and we will take a closer look. Thank you, @VolvoGirl for providing information that is helpful for us to service our customers.
With the token number, we should be able to have access to all the information we need, but will reach out if any further information is needed.
@DanielV01 @VolvoGirl I should have mentioned this earlier. I get the exact same error messages when attempting to eFile my 2019 amended tax return in TurboTax Premier 2019. In case it's of value I have also uploaded a diagnostic copy of my 2019 return. The token number is 902820. Thank you.
@slawso. Thank you also. We are looking into your previous report, and will respond back. Definitely 2018 can no longer e-file no matter what. The IRS has that shut down. But 2019 and 2020 are the same type of issue, and we'll provide an update.
How are you trying to upload this W2? Are you using a PDF? Please try to upload via a photo if the PDF does not work. Also, try clearing cache and cookies to see if this helps with the issue as well.
If that doesn't bring up the correct information, you can always manually enter the data manually to proceed.
The 2021 amount is correct, but there is NO WAY that my pension income for 2020 was $430,172!!! I think there is a bug in the software that is mis-calculating last year's amount.
@S60 There is probably an error on the amount that you entered, either a misplaced decimal point or a comma entered by mistake for the decimal.
Go back and check your entry on the Form 1099-R. If the error persists after you have corrected the form then delete the 1099-R and re-enter manually.
Enter 1099-r in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1099-R
My New York State 2021 return includes IT-229 Property Tax Credit, the form is correctly filled out and does appear in the tax return, but the credit in not transferred to the tax return IT-201.
It is supposed to be transferred to IT-201ATT and from there to line 71 of IT-201 (other refundable credits).

Turbo Tax 2021 deluxe will not let me enter 2021 income. is this a software error? how do I solve it?
@Rnochez Are you using the Desktop program? Could it be this? https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/income/help/why-is-the-wages-income-screen-blank/00/2425220
For me, this was resolved via "Run as Administrator." Instead of just clicking the TurboTax icon (in Windows), right-click on the icon and choose "Run as Administrator." I don't know why, but this made the problem go away for me--the W2 dialog screen appeared, and I generally have not had problems since then with TurboTax Home and Business 2021. It is probably worth a try.
My wife and I are married and filing jointly, which shows on our Turbotax 1040. We entered in a cash charitable contribution to our church in 2021 of $2,770 which shows up on our Turbotax Schedule A. As expected, Turbotax determined that the Standard duduction was better for us rather than itemized deductions. However, line 12b for charitable contribution only shows $300 instead of $600. Why?

I am running TurboTax Premier for Windows Version 021.000.0415 and only see this error if I entered a Charitable Donation in the Deductions & Credits section and only eligible for the Standard Deduction.
To remove the error I went into Forms mode and deleted the Charitable Organization Worksheet. Then on the Form 1040 Worksheet for Line 12b removed the $300 amount so Line 12b is now blank (empty).
Going back to Step-by-Step I completed the Deductions & Credits section without entering anything for a charitable donation. Continuing through the screens until landing on the screen labeled Charitable Cash Contributions under Cares Act, I entered $600. Continued through Final Review without error.
For the TurboTax online editions -
The problem appears to be that a charitable donation was entered in the Deductions and Credits section of the program when you are only eligible for the Standard Deduction.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen
Click on Tools
Click on Delete a form
Scroll through the all the forms, schedules and worksheets listed and delete all the Charitable Organization forms listed.
When completed with removing forms click on Continue With My Return at the bottom of the list.
Click on Federal on the left side of the screen
Click on Deductions & Credits at the top of the screen
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Wrap up tax breaks
Continue through the screens. After the screen showing that you are getting the Standard Deduction the following screen is Charitable Cash Contributions under Cares Act. Enter $600 if filing Jointly or $300 for all other filing status'. The federal review and the Final Review should no longer show an error for the charitable donation.
