To report the stimulus payments received in TurboTax, please follow these steps:
If you didn’t get your full stimulus payment, you may be eligible to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 tax return.
To be eligible for the credit you need to be a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident alien in 2020 and have a Social Security number that is valid for employment.
You cannot be claimed as a dependent by someone else to be eligible.
Your credit amount will be reduced if your 2020 adjusted gross income (AGI) is more than:
Your payment will be reduced by 5% of the amount by which your AGI exceeds the applicable threshold above. (IRS FAQ Recovery Rebate Credit )
When i press on federal review, it does not ask me any questions about stimulus payments.

Does this apply to you?
When turbo tax first asked me about stimulus money I answered that I didn't receive any. Now I am trying to go back in and enter the amount (as I did receive stimulus money in 2021) When I go to the Federal Review, it does not ask me about stimulus money, but Turbo Tax does ask for a Schedule 8812 (which does not apply to me). I think the 8812 is coming up because I reported 0 stimulus received. How do I report my stimulus money if Turbotax doesn't ask me when I perform the Federal Review?
Try clicking on the "Other Tax Situations" tab and "Continue." That should bring you to the "stimulus" questions and allow you to enter the amount from your 6475 letter.
When I click on the "Other Tax Situations" tab it opens up 6 more categories with multiple choices under each. There is the "Done with Other" tab at the bottom, no "Continue" tab. When I click on "Done with Other" it takes me to the "Federal Review" section where I fall into the same loop as described before. At this point I click on "Continue" and it takes me to "Check this Entry" schedule 8812 - Advance payments received. Schedule 8812 does not apply to me.
You can edit the amounts of stimulus payments that you received in the Federal Review tab in TurboTax.

I mistakenly reported in TurboTax we got 3 stimulus checks when we only got 2. How do I correct that?
IRS will fix stimulus mistakes. You don’t have to do anything if you filed your return, and it was accepted.
You can fix your stimulus amounts if you haven’t filed yet or if your return was rejected.
To get to the stimulus section in TurboTax online:
Thanks - but I haven't filed yet. I thought I remembered a question that asked me if I got a 3rd stimulus check. I said yes - but later found it we only got two. When I do what you ask below, the $s are correct.
If you didn't receive the third stimulus payment you can claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on your return.
To claim the Credit:
1. Enter all your federal return information as you would normally
2. During the Federal Review, we’ll check if you meet the requirements for the stimulus payment
3. If you meet the requirements, you'll see the Did you get a third stimulus? screen
4. Answer a few questions about any payments you've already received and then we'll let you know if the Recovery Rebate Credit applies
