IRS will fix stimulus mistakes. You don’t have to do anything if you filed your return, and it was accepted.
You can fix your stimulus amounts if you haven’t filed yet or if your return was rejected.
To get to the stimulus section in TurboTax online:
- Type "stimulus" in Search in the upper right
- Select "Jump to stimulus"
- TurboTax will ask whether the amount matches what you got
- Say No and enter the correct amount
