How do I get confirmation number for State e-filing?

That's not the bright end of the tunnel answer!!  If one calls TurboTax (Intuit) sales and services and is getting nowhere for 45 minutes just for Intuit's employee smart ones' to give up and hangup on you.  2021 deluxe  turbotax software was a rather large mistake to be released by Intuit due to being an unfinished product.  Keeping it real!!

An e-file confirmation number would be provided to you if you used a paid tax professional to e-file your tax return.  The TurboTax software is not a paid tax professional.  It is only tax preparation software to assist you in completing your Self-Prepared tax return.

If you need confirmation that your 2019 state tax return was e-filed and accepted by the State, then you will need to download your tax return to include all forms, schedules and worksheets.

The Postmark Report will have the date/time that the tax return return was transmitted and the date it was accepted by the State, if accepted.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

@jim-1411  Please call product support and give them your serial number and then they can give you the confirmation number you need. Here's the number to call:  (800) 446-8848. 

To find your serial number, go into the program to the payment section, select pay by credit card--then you should see a screen pop up. Look on that screen for the serial number, and then call us. Thank you!
