We see people get confused and they keep logging in to online software which will require them to pay at the end. You need to use the desktop software. One way to tell if you are using the right software---your tool bar. Online software has the toolbar in a black vertical column on the left side of the screen. Desktop software has the tools up on the top of your TT screen.
You appear to be posting from online Deluxe software instead of the desktop CD/download software that the license code is for. If you are using online, you are using the wrong program. You need to switch to the desktop software to get what you paid for. You have to download it, update it and open it up from your own hard drive to use it.
If you are using the TurboTax online web-based editions then you can only complete one tax return per account and User ID. You would have to create a new account and a new User ID to start another tax return using the online editions.
Thanks for the reply. I did create a new ID for my daughter, but it still wants me to pay for turbo tex deluxe again. I already purchased it for my return. In years past, I could do both my daughters returns with buying the product only once.
Thanks. I submitted my returns already and paid. I did not see anything saying that purchasing the product was good for only one return. Do you know if I can now apply that payment to the desktop version? Or am I screwed and need to buy it again?
You can contact customer service to see if they can help switch your product. @Go319
