I had the same thing this morning. Was on the phone with support for over an hour!!!
He finally decided that CA wasn't ready to accept e-files and said to try again Friday.
In the meantime, Turbotax CLOSED my case number even though nothing was resolved, so I am furious. And according to CA, they were accepting e-files beginning of the month.
So very mishandled and I feel that all users with this should be compensated for our wasted time (and not getting our refunds in a timely fashion) by at the least not having to pay for State e-file if and when they fix this and giving us a compimentary turbotax for 2025 (assuming we still want to use them).
VERY, very unhappy with the level of support and still no result. I'm not the only one in CA filing with Turbotax (been with them over ten years), so they should know about this and get back to us all!

I've spent over 100 minutes with support (disconnected me last time and never called back). Still can't file CA state taxes, won't get me to credit card processing. Can't somebody help me here?
Is there something on my Mac blocking access? Or a Turbotax issue?

No. Card is not a problem. I can't event get to this point. I can't even get to Billing info. BTW I don't use windows version it's MAC.
I have spent over two hours with support on the phone number and have had ZERO results which is why I ws trying this forum. The last person who was going to try to manually override the system disconnected me and never called me back. I tried later in day to call the number again and this person disconnected me two minutes after putting me on hold and didn't call back.

Yes I've done that and everything recommended. It is a bug that they have known about now since last tuesday, at least from me. Spent 3 plus hours with level 1 and finally someone on level 2 (or called something else i think) and they are supposed to get back to me sometime but total waste of my time. Can file state tax in CA for free on the state site, just not sure how to export from TT to upload that. And they aren't telling me that part. So I'll wait a little longer, but frustrating. Always something with TT. Been using ten plus years but this is getting to be too much. They better not dare charge me for the filing, my time is worth something too.
You removed it and re-installed TurboTax, @convis1 ? Are you able to access and file your CA return now? Did you get your CA state download installed?
same thing, did nothing. as did clearing caches, changing web browsers (desktop version so made no sense anyway).
No I can only access my federal return. But each time I tried to download CA state it cuts me off on the step one. I cannot even proceed to the payment information. Still can't.
