We recommend downloading your TurboTax for Windows software to your desktop or the Downloads folder so you can find it easily.
If you can't locate it, here's how to search for the download:
- TurboTax federal programs (Basic, Deluxe, etc.): Search your PC for w_turbotax and look for the filename extension .exe
- TurboTax state: Search for w_state (replace state with the actual state name, for example w_ohio or w_new_york).
Still can't find it? Then download it again and save it to your desktop or the Downloads folder.
