After following your directions my review of the 1040 shows the 1/3 distribution in box 5b but it does not show the 8915-E form anywhere on the federal review. Once I got the figures into the form it shows I owe more taxes like it should but the total of IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) summary doesn't show the distribution amount?
If the correct amount was posted on the Federal 1040 tax return line 5b, your tax return should show IRS Form 8915-F not IRS Form 8915-E.
The second disaster distribution is not reflected on the summary page under Federal / Wages & Income / Your income.
Form 8915-F Part II distributions may be found on line 5b of the 2021 Federal 1040 tax return. The distribution is not reflected in box 5a. See entries for Part II of Form 8915-F on lines 12, 13 and 15.
You may view the forms at Tax Tools / Print Center / Print, save or preview this year's return / Include government and TurboTax worksheets.
How come the repayment amount I enter isn't reducing the "taxable amount"
I have followed the directions and it just keeps saying needs review. This is the second year so there is no 1099r to add!?

After completing the Wages & Income section you will land on a screen Did you take a disaster distribution at any time between 2018 and 2020?
Answer NO since you have already completed the entering the 1/3 of the 2020 distribution.
Is this avaioable yet? I am not seeing the form generate at the end of my taxes, nor do I see a tax impact when I fill out disaster related 401K withdrawel that the tax impact is being split over 3 years, which is odd.

I do all that, but when I preview my 1040 (or even the final file) I see no mention of the numbers I added related to this topic, nore is there an 8915-F or E form anywhere being generated.

It will be on the Form 1040 Line 4b or 5b if you entered the 2nd year distribution amount in both of the boxes as shown in the procedure. And you did NOT enter an amount of repayment of the distribution in 2021.
Go back to the Form 1099-R section and review your entries -
If the 2020 distribution was from an account that was Not an IRA
Enter 1/3 of the amount from the 2020 distribution in both boxes for Line 9
2020 Form 8915E, line 9, if you checked the box on that line, enter 0
2020 Form 8915E Line 9
If the 2020 distribution was from an IRA account
Enter 1/3 of the amount from the 2020 distribution in both boxes for Line 17
2020 Form 8915E, line 17, if you checked the box on that line, enter 0
2020 Form 8915E Line 17
I just previewed our 1040 and I’m still not see our 8915-F yet it’s in our total income. Thoughts?
Were you able to follow the above steps provided by our specialist DoninGA to be able to preview that form?
@kc0116
Yes it does but when i look back at last year's return it show the initial amount in took out in line 5a and then the 1/3 amount in 5b and in between both boxes says rollover. This year it just shows the 1/3 amount in 5b. I am assuming this is fine but just looks a little different. I am able to see the form now when i preview the tax form.
Just jumped ship as well and it was easy, intuitive and logical--Free Tax USA!!! Good-bye forever TT.
I need help with the for 8915 f I pot everything in and it says it still needs review.
It would be best to follow the instructions here to contact us by phone so we can further assist you. @Shebas0223
