After downloading and installing Premier on Windows 10 the activation won't proceed. The download completed successfully. The installation completed successfully. Updates were successfully applied. The application restarted and a white screen titled "Turbo Tax Premier 2019 - Activation" opened. The swirling blue dots just keep swirling and not further progress is made. I have not gotten far enough to enter the activation code I have from the purchase.
I tried running Repair on the installation and that did not help. I tried Uninstalling and then repeating the installation and that did not help.

Other than Customer Support...try the following:
.......TTX should only be installed and run as an Administrator.....not in some guest account without administrator privileges...but it's hard to know each person's exact setup.
But even if you did that already, there is an internal setting that sometimes needs to be implemented also.
So...Save your tax file and Exit TurboTax....then:
1) right click TurboTax 2019 icon
2) Select … Properties
3) Select the Compatibility tab
4) In the "Settings" box … check the box to "Run this program as an administrator"
5) Apply...OK...then restart the program and try again

Get to activation screen but have no place to input activation code which I have. This is TT 2020 Premier. Am I doing something wrong?
by chance do you have a new computer (purchased after 10/10/20) or are running Microsoft Version 2H20?
try this:
1) change the screen resolution to 800x600 (start>settings>display)
2) launch turbo tax and copy / paste the license code to activate
3) change the screen resolution back to its original setting.
