Convert download version to online version

I used the download version the past two tax years, 2014 & 2015, but want to use the online version for 2016.   Is this possible, and how would I go about importing the information from the download file on my local drive to the online version?

Start a new 2016 online tax return using this website (not the Free edition) - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/

Note - The online editions can only be used to complete one tax return per account and user ID.  If you need to complete more than one tax return, use the desktop CD/Download editions.  The state tax program is an additional charge using the online editions.  There is no direct access to any forms, schedules or worksheets using the online editions.

If you use the Online version then at the end when you file be sure to download both the .tax2016 data file and the pdf file to your computer so you will always have access to it.  There maybe times you can not get a copy from Turbo Tax.  And if you ever need to amend your return in the future (after next Oct) you will have to open the .tax2016 file in the Desktop program.
