Have used TT2020 Windows desktop and filed in Apr, 2021. Now, in 2022, bought and installed TT2021 Win Desktop.
Need to go back to look at my 2020 return by running TT2020 again. Before it runs, it forced me to update, although I did not need to. After TT2020 was updated, it asks for license code, which, of course, I can no longer find.
Questions:
What can I do to regenerate 2020 1040? using TT2020?
My TT2020 was a licensed copy, why do I need to enter license code again?
Why was I forced to update TT2020, which, of course, could change what I filed?

What is the TurboTax phone number?
"...TurboTax software will continue to update throughout the remainder of the tax season" is totally understood, but the fact that I filed my 1040 in Apr 2021 using TT2020, why ask me for the license code again? Haven't I already registered the product?
Please see the help article TurboTax 2019 and TurboTax 2020 requests license activation at every launch for more information and steps to follow that may help.
If the resolutions offered in the article do not solve the issue, please reach out to TurboTax Customer Support for assistance here.
