No I did not solve the problem. It was not an updating issue.
It did the updates but when I try to open TT, it comes up and says it is up to date, but when I click the ok button it does not open TT program. Then the error comes up. I have copied the report below.
It was working fine the last few times I had it opened which was a few weeks ago. Then just recently it allowed me to do the updates but would not open the program. It Just started doing this after the updates.
I also shut down the MAC and when rebooted it was the same…..
Need help so I can complete and file my tax return.

If you are using TurboTax CD/Download software you may need to do a manual update if the automatic update failed. Please see the below TurboTax FAQs to assist with this:

I need to open 2022 to make additions so I can file 2022 return. Did not file- applied for extension
@5318624 Are you using the Online web version or the installed Desktop program (and Windows or Mac)?
For Online Click on Add a State to let you back into your return.
I was using the installed Desktop program on a Mac. I called support and we tried all their solutions but did not work. Had to go to an online version to finish the return for 2022. I am hoping they had fixed these issues for the 2023 program coming up.
