Can’t activate TT 2024 on Windows 11
I just ordered TurboTax2024 from Amazon. I cannot get past a blank activation page and if I do, it says I am not connected to the Internet, which obviously I am. I have tried every type of troubleshooting recommended and Windows says TT 2024 is not compatible. Now what? I can’t get any type of help from Intuit or TurboTax. I purchased TurboTax Premier and have used TT products for years.

Can’t activate TT 2024 on Windows 11
In other threads, folks have found out that there IS a problem with the TTX servers for the activation code.
Some got thru later some haven't....could be spotty until that server is fully fixed....but it is being worked on.
Should be fixed by tomorrow, so wait until then to try again.

I’m having exactly the same issue. Activation page says I’m not connected to the internet. Obviously I am, it just downloaded the software to my hard drive.

OMG - thank you for letting me know. I have spent hours on this today. There is absolutely no place to get help with this except this forum - as I’ve learned the hard way. Thank you.

I still cannot get an activation code for TT Deluxe. It's been more that a week since you said it would be fixed.

Can’t activate TT 2024 on Windows 11
I am going to suggest these steps below. I think you might be having an issue other users have experienced with installing when using Windows 10.
- Type "environment" in the windows search bar.
- This will bring up "Edit the System Environment Variables" as a match.
- Clicking on it takes you to the "Advanced" tab of a dialog box titled "System Properties."
- Near the bottom of the dialog box, click on the pushbutton labeled "Environment Variables...".
- This brings up a separate dialog box that shows the current values for user environment variables at the top and system variables at the bottom. In the list of user environment variables, you should see both TEMP and TMP, and their current values.
- Click on each, then click on the "Edit..." pushbutton.
- This brings up another dialog box in which you can change the "Variable value" to "C:\Temp" (be sure to change the variable value, not the variable name).
- This folder must, of course, exist for this step to work properly.
- OK out of all the dialog boxes and retry the install.
- Environment variable changes take effect immediately, so if this is the only change you make, it's not necessary to reboot.

Can’t activate TT 2024 on Windows 11
I talked to TT and was eventially told to use another computer. No help from them. I also used this method and it launched and asked for update. After updating, it tried to launch the program but went back to the activation page and same error as "We've have run into an issue and connecting to your computer and cannot launch turbotax 2024.
Thanks anyway,

Can’t activate TT 2024 on Windows 11
After trying everyone's suggestions and could not solve my problem, I gave up. But today weeks later I tried what my son suggested. I started my desktop in safe mode and activated my deluxe TT, then restarted it. I was able to launch my TT flawlessly.
So if you have not gotten your to work, try starting safe mode to activate it.
Good Luck.
