TurboTax 2021 does not have that option.
The only option with the name Chase is: Chase Bank. When you attempt that it gives an error:
You can enter them manually in summary sections. TurboTax provides this option for exactly this scenario.
The summary sections should be on the first page of your 1099-B. It will break down the trades into four sections.
The four sections are -
After you have entered the totals into the sections that appear on your statement (you probably don't have all four) the program will offer you the option to upload a pdf of your 1099-B to attach to the return for submission.
Multiple threads on this topic and the best Intuit can say is to enter things manually? How about we get a refund for our purchase and suggest we try to file the return using the paper return instead? You know, the one where you can fill out on paper in ink from the local library....
I too thought the system was not working. It kept giving me an error. I even called my bank. They said it was good on their end.
Then I found this article. https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-topics/help/what-if-i-can-t-import-my-1099/00/846274
Once I put in the correct partner in TT, it worked.
In the past I have always looked for "Chase Investment" and got the ID code, no problem. This year I cannot find "Chase Investments" at all - even though, according to their site, that is what I should be looking for.
I don't have much hope that Turbo Tax will be able to help me. I do hope other people have the same problem - and can come up with a solution. I am having an accountant do my taxes this year but I still wanted to use Turbo Tax to compare the outcomes. Guess maybe next year I will just skip Turbo.
use J.P. Morgan Securities
and your chase user and password
I had to wait till the 19th to import and was able to import from my chase investment account.
I don't see JP Morgan Securities -- only JP Morgan Funds, which does not work for me. In the past, Turbo has always had Chase Investments -- so what is the problem this year?? Are they ever going to fix the problem?
Funny how some people seen to be able to access more than others. All I see on my Turbo Tax are Chase Bank and JP Morgan Funds -- nothing else - and neither work for me. I don't show JP Morgan Securities or JP Morgan Private Bank - not that it matters, since the Chase site clearly states to use Chase Investments. Just don't understand why Turbo would not have it listed this year.

I have desktop delux and I was able to chose jp morgan securities.
I do remember last year I chose chase's investment.
I have spent 2 hours with them on call and they did not have a solution or work around day before yesterday
I'm glad that chase Morgan securities worked for me
After spending about an hour online with the service rep on 2/19, I was given a discount code to discount the entire price of the online version due to the issue with Chase. After completing my taxes on the online version, I found that the discount code does not work. Here is my call history with the TurboTax team today.
Call 1: Spoke with rep. put on hold for 20 minutes. Hung up on.
Call 2: Instantly hung up on.
Call 3: Service rep had bad service (WFH still, I guess?). Hung up on.
Call 4: Spoke with rep. Rep told me that service codes are down and there is no ETA. I was put on hold while they try to get more info.
Will definitely be switching to HR Block after this **bleep**show
Has there been any update on this. If they cannot figure this out, I guess Chase customers are going to have to find a different tax software next year!

Yes -- use JP Morgan Securities. That has all the investment data. The Chase link does not work.

This is the link provided by Turbo Tax to download Chase. It does not link to anything. I had this same problem last year. I have been using Turbo Tax for at approx 10 years and this may be the last. I bought Premier to handle my investments. Turbo tax says this will not be fixed until after April 18th.
