Am I required to upgrade to Premium to enter expenses related to my 1099?

It says upgrade to Premium to uncover more deductions, but I know what my deductions are. It's not allowing me to enter those expenses without upgrading to Premium. Is that required?

What kind of 1099? There are over a dozen kinds. If you mean a 1099NEC---yes, you have to upgrade to enter self-employment income and prepare a Schedule C. If you mean some other kind of 1099---tell us what kind.
