Why do I only have half my taxes

My federal I only got half of it now the IRS is trying to figure out what is going on no body can seem to figure it out

How many dollars are you missing?  Could the rest be TT fees?

So you submitted a tax return for a $8,000 refund? That is awfully high. Did the IRS actually issue it for $8,000, or just for $4,000?  If $8,000, did you ask for some of it in Savings Bonds, or to go to a second bank account?

No it was 843 turbo took 122 and I ended up with 386
