Trying to finish compiling my 2019 Federal Tax return and can't because Turbo Tax is telling me that Form 1040: Schedule C & Form 8995 are not ready, the IRS is still working on these forms which were supposed to be done in January. Running update keeps telling me my software is up to date (purchased the download version). It's the end of February and these forms still aren't available or is this a bogus message? If legit, Turbo Tax, how about an update? When will these forms be ready?

To close the loop on this, in case it helps anyone else, after over 2 hours on the phone with TT support, we determined my Home & Biz download version was somehow corrupted so we uninstalled that and reinstalled a fresh copy with license code, complete reinstall from scratch, and that fixed the problem. The online update from the app started working, I got the updated forms, and everything was fine. Btw, I did not lose my return I'd been working on since the uninstall does not remove the TurboTax file folder so was able to pick up where I left off but I did walk through everything just to make sure, plus she said while the data is retained, selections made via check boxes may not so review your return to make sure if you end up going full extreme like I did.
Per the forms availability table for TurboTax Products, both of those forms show available.
Please see the below TurboTax FAQ for assistance with manually updating your TurboTax software:
Hi Michelle
I've tried to use the manual update (I'm on Windows 10). It downloaded fine but when I try to run it, it acts like it's going to install but then comes back with "TurboTax not installed. Please install Turbo Tax 2019 and re-run this update". TTH&B is installed and I've been using it, in fact I'm done with my taxes except for needing these updated forms, before I move on to the state tax return section.
The download I bought came with two other files ("Open" and "File", I have no idea what those are for), plus the executable (TurboTax Home and Business 2019.exe), which I installed and has been running fine, except every time I run the updater from the menu, it tells me my software is up to date. Obviously that's not accurate if these forms are now out and available.
If you have run the manual update and still are still having the same issue, please contact customer service/product support: Customer Service/Product Support
