Discrepancy on turbo tax web vs home & business software.
I have taxable income $807 on line 15 of 1040.
Tax on Line 15 is $120 from Turbotax website But $90 on TurboTax home and business. If income is under 10% tax bracket, it should be $90. How do we fix if there is bug in turbo tax online.

It is unlikely that there is a bug in TurboTax online.
Are the entries on lines 1 though 15 identical on the two tax returns? I ask because capital gains and qualified dividends are not taxed the same as ordinary income. Thus, you can have identical values in line 15 but correctly have different numbers on line 16.
Are you comparing the actual tax on line 16? In the IRS Tax Tables the tax on 807 is $81 for all filing status. Then if you have the Desktop Home & Business version I assume you have self employment income? There is SE tax in addition to the regular income tax on your income. You need to compare each actual line on the returns.
You can download the .tax2020 file from online (for free) and open it in the Desktop program so you can look at all the forms.

Thank you for both of your replies. I deleted the whole file and re-do in both home&business and free online version. I just use home & business to compare the result. Here is summary from both. Here is claim status.
I am full time student and parent claimed me as their dependent. I had earned income 11K plus scholarship. NO capital gain, NO business or other income. I entered same amount and same fields.
-----from home & business-------------
2020 | Adjusted Gross Income line 11 $ 20,995.00
Federal | Taxable Income line 15 $ 8,595.00
Tax | Total Tax line 16 $ 1,026.00
Return | Total Payments/Credits line 25d & 33 $ 919.00
Summary | Payment Due line 37 $ 107.00
--------------------------------------------------
This is from Turbotax free online. It recognize scholarship as unearned income.
2020 | Adjusted Gross Income line 11 $ 20,995.00
Federal | Taxable Income line 15 $ 8,595.00
Tax | Total Tax line 16 $ 1,825.00
Return | Total Payments/Credits line 25d & 33 $ 919.00
Summary | Payment Due line 37 $ 906.00
If I have to file, I will choose file from home & business. If I don't use all scholarship from 1098-T, pay tax as regular income?
Your numbers don't make sense. We need the line #s they are on. And any other lines that have amounts. Or at least any other lines that don't match. Because the tax on 8595 is only $853. That should be on line 16. Then you must have some other tax or penalty on a higher line.
@VolvoGirl You are right. It does not make sense. Line#2 thru #8 are blank. Line#13 is blank. I shouldn't get different tax amount no matter which version. I will clear and start over again as it is just W2 and 1098-T. will try other free software to compare the result. Anyway, Thank you your time.
Well like I said (and this helped someone else) you should download the .tax2020 file from the online web version and open it in your Desktop program. Then you can look at all the forms and worksheets and see where the tax is coming from.
If you are a dependent you might get taxed at your parent's rate. I don't know how that works. That is probably figuring into it. And if you are a dependent you do not enter the 1098T. It goes on your parent's return.
Thank you and will try to download .tax2020 from online version.
Yes, if you download the tax file (not the PDF) and open it in the desktop program, it should be the same and then you can compare the 2 return and find the difference quicker - and it should make a lot more sense...
