We just posted (10/9/19) a question "How to delete 'Canadian Retirement Plans' from TT-2018 ?" on the 'Get your taxes done' forum and then found this post with Google.
The 9/19 post asks:
"'Canadian Registered Pension Income' is listed under 'Personal Income' and the 'Retirement Plans and Social Security' list, and cant delete it. Dont remember ever adding it. Is it a hack ?"
If anyone here has a thought on that it would be helpful.
Thanks.

But the tax implications for New York, at least, are different.
