Hello. I have the same issue when filing 2017 taxes. Spouse Canada Pension Plan. In 2016, I entered a 1099-r and Form 4852 with blank federal ID number and filed electronically with no issue. In 2017, I can't file without a number in that field. How did you file in 2017? I was thinking of a 1099-MISC. Thanks in advance.
