I filed my taxes on 01/17/2020 and they were accepted on 01/27/2020 yet I have not been given an issued date.I claimed two dependents, does that have anything to do with why I still haven’t received anything?

There are delays in issuing refunds with certain credits. The IRS expects the first EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by the first week of March, if they chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return. Check Where’s My Refund for your personalized refund date.
WMR on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go app will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 22. So EITC /ACTC filers will not see an update to their refund status for several days after Feb. 15.
The IRS, tax preparers and tax software will not have additional information on refund dates, so Where’s My Refund? remains the best way to check the status of a refund. Where’s My Refund? is only updated once daily, usually overnight, so you don’t need to check the status more often.

Why haven't i received any refund?
Is there someone i can speak with about my refund?
TurboTax doesn't get any information from the IRS about the status of your tax refund. The only source for that information is the IRS or, in the case of a state refund, your state.
You can check the status here: Where's My Refund?
If the Where's My Refund tool isn't able to provide the information that you need at this time there isn't much in the way of additional help currently available as most IRS departments are currently closed. We do not yet know when normal operations will resume.
Same problem efiled Feb 5 accepted Feb 7th. Got my stimulus check and my state taxes but still no fed taxes. This is bs
I understand your frustration. Many people are in the same situation as you.
The IRS issues a lot of refunds within 21 days, but it has been taking longer with the stimulus payment being issued in addition to the tax refunds.
IRS processing time and refund status
The online link is your best option to track your refund. I have attached a link with more answers from the IRS as to why your refund may be taking longer to process.
Also, be aware, the IRS operations are limited during the Covid-19 pandemic. Attached is a link with more information as to what departments are available to contact at the moment.
We filed back in February and still no 1,000.00 refund.

Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?
Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
If over 21 days since being Accepted by the IRS and the tax refund is still Processing you can call the IRS and speak with an IRS agent concerning your tax refund.
Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.
Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
Then press 4 for all other inquiries
It should then transfer you to an agent.
Good luck. I filed 1/29 and it was accepted 2/11. I got my state but not my federal
It still says it's being processed yet and there are no transcripts on the IRS site.
If you are still waiting for your stimulus payment, you can check the following TurboTax link for help.
For refund inquiries, please visit the IRS website to see their refund status tool.
