Why doesn't TurboTax list vehicles before 2017 in the Qualified Plug-In Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit?

I have a 2014 BMW i3 that I purchased in January 2023. I don't see the option to include a 2014 vehicle.

The IRS Form 8936 Clean Vehicle Credit for tax year 2023 has not been finalized in TurboTax.

The form is scheduled to be available on 02/21/2024.

You will have to wait for the energy forms to be ready.

Many federal and state forms are not yet available.  Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.

No hurry to e-file since the IRS will not begin to accept/reject 2023 e-files until January 29.   And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.

Thank you, @DoninGA! I received a text alert today that stated the Plug-in Electric Drive Motor Credit (Plug-in Vehicle) section was ready to complete. I'll wait until 2/21/24 and check again.
