What are you trying to do?
Are you wanting to report quarterly estimated tax payments you made toward your 2020 tax return so that you get credit for the payments on your 2020 return?
Or are you preparing 2021 Form 1040ES vouchers to use for estimated payments this year?
Are you using online Premier or the desktop software (CD/download)?
What does "unable to enter" mean? What happens? What is the roadblock? Are you unable to deposit a cursor on the field to type an entry?
Or do you not know where to enter the 2020 payments you made and need navigation help?
Trying to enter estimated taxes paid in 2020 (1040ES) so that I can get credit for the payments. However, when I get to that section of my return it does not allow me to make an entry. The screen becomes blank.

Thanks for the additional info. I had also asked above if you are using Online TurboTax or the desktop software (CD/download). If desktop Premier, what operating system--Mac or Windows, and what OS version?
Online and desktop versions have different navigation methods, so I'll assume you already know how to get to the proper interview. If you are using desktop software, how are you making the entries--are you doing it in interview mode (step by step), or are you trying to do it in Forms Mode?
If using Online TurboTax, is the screen totally blank, or is it "stuck" with a spinning wheel like it is loading/buffering?
What is the screen you were on just prior to the blank screen? i.e., what is it you clicked that then gave you the blank screen? What navigation method were you using to get to the estimated tax payments section? There are several different ways to get there. I can tell you several methods, but I don't know if you are using Online Premier or desktop Premier.
The following info is for Windows desktop version:
If using Windows 10 version of the desktop software a blank screen can sometimes be due to a scaling setting or resolution setting. However, a scaling/resolution issue is normally with a popup window, and estimated tax payments entry does not use a special window.
The following may or may not help in your case, but it's quick to try if you are using desktop software.
Windows settings>System>Display>Scaling
In Windows 10, try a scaling of 100% (some people have it set higher). If that doesn't make your estimated taxes screen display properly, then go back to the Windows Display settings and try a different screen resolution such as 800X600 or 1024x768.
I am using online Premier version on windows 10. I tried the jump to link. It did not work. Someone helped me by using the forms, and I was able to do it. Thanks most kindly for your help.
Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same issue on the same platform (Windows 10). Unable to find a solution.

Since you said your issue is "the same", I'll assume you are trying to enter your 1040-ES quarterly tax payments you paid in 2020 so you get credit for them on your 2020 return, but the screen goes blank when you try to make an entry?
Are you using desktop software (CD/download) or Online TurboTax (web version) in a browser?
The previous user said he is using "online Premier version on Windows 10". But that's confusing, since he said he fixed his issue "by using the forms," which is a feature of the desktop software (CD/download). If that user is indeed using Online TurboTax, then it's not clear at all what he meant.
If the previous user has desktop software and made his entries in Forms Mode, I presume he entered them directly on the Tax Payments Worksheet. If you are using desktop software and do that, make sure you ultimately see them showing up on your Form 1040, Line 26 (you can look at it, while you're in Forms Mode).
I don't know why you were having the screen problem when trying to enter the quarterly payment info in the Interview Mode (step by step.). If you are using desktop software (CD/download), did you happen to try the scaling and resolution tweak I mentioned? It may not help, but it's something to try. Is your TurboTax software up to date, and have you rebooted (restarted) your computer since the last software update?
Paid 1st quarter estimated tax on 4/15. Estimated Tax Payment Options is not allowing me to enter that figure in "Estimates you've already paid."
The 1040 is not allowing me to enter amount of line 34 I want to apply to 2021 estimated taxes.
Using Premier download.

For the first part of your question above, is that an estimated tax payment for 2021 that you paid last month?
And are you trying to use Forms Mode instead of the interview (step by step) mode? It sounds like you're using Forms Mode and that you are trying to make an entry directly on the Estimated Tax Payment Options worksheet . You cannot make a direct entry in the field "Estimates you've already paid" (for 2021) because that figure flows from another worksheet--the "Estimated Taxes and Form W-4 Worksheet." On that other worksheet when you enter the April estimate you've already paid for 2021 (Payment 1), the figure should then correctly flow to the Estimated Tax Payment Options worksheet. On that other worksheet the place to enter a 2021 estimated tax payment already made is way down towards the bottom of the worksheet.
While you can work on those 2 worksheets in Forms Mode, it can get complicated. Normally one is best-served to use the interview step-by-step mode because of sometimes-complex interactions between one or more worksheets. But if you are comfortable using Forms Mode, it can be done, but in this case it sounds like you weren't aware that this figure requires two worksheets.
TIP: When working in Forms Mode, one way to tell that a figure is to come from another worksheet is to right-click over the field that you can't enter and choose "Data source", and it may tell you what other worksheet the figure is to come from.
"The 1040 is not allowing me to enter amount of line 34 I want to apply to 2021 estimated taxes."
I don't know how you are trying to do it, but you don't do it directly on the Form 1040.
If using interview (step-by-step) mode, here's how to apply all or part of a 2020 overpayment toward 2021 estimated taxes.
Federal Taxes tab.
Subtab "Other Tax Situations."
Scroll down to topic "Additional Tax Payments."
Find subtopic "Apply refund to next year," and click Start or Update.
Continue answering the screens.
If working in Forms Mode, and you want to tell TurboTax how much of a 2020 overpayment to apply toward 2021, the data field is on the Estimated Taxes and Form W-4 Worksheet near the top.
NOTE: In either the interview or Forms Mode method, the amount of your overpayment applied toward 2021 taxes should flow from the Estimated Taxes and Form W-4 Worksheet to your Form 1040, Line 36. Review your return prior to filing to be sure all is correct.
I can't find where to enter the information from my 1040es, so TurboTax is saying I owe what I already paid. I added the schedule H information, but how do I add the 1040 es?
Deluxe edition, download, Mac.
If you made estimated tax payments in 2020 towards your federal, state, or local taxes, enter them in the Estimated and Other Income Taxes Paid section.
What are you trying to do?
Are you wanting to report quarterly estimated tax payments you made toward your 2020 tax return so that you get credit for the payments on your 2020 return? No
Or are you preparing 2021 Form 1040ES vouchers to use for estimated payments this year? I am using the Deductions Tab under Federal Taxes
Are you using online Premier or the desktop software (CD/download)? I am using Turbotax Deluxe that I downloaded and installed
What does "unable to enter" mean? What happens? What is the roadblock? Are you unable to deposit a cursor on the field to type an entry?
1) There are 4 dates associated with 4 quarterly payments. The first date is 4/15/2021. It says you can change the dates. I can position the cursor on the "5" but when I type "2" nothing happens. I intended to change the date to 4/12/2021
2) I can position the cursor on the dollar amount and type 2000, nothing happens.
Or do you not know where to enter the 2020 payments you made and need navigation help? I am not making estimated payments for 2020. I am making estimated payments for 2021.
For the Federal estimated tax payments for 2021, when I positioned my cursor in the field and typed, nothing happened. It seemed like the screen had frozen. However, when I tabbed into the field, the box was lit and I was able to type. From my rudimentary knowledge, it seemed that when I positioned the cursor and typed, it was trying to do an insert of characters rather than type over what was there and there was no space for characters to be inserted. When I tabbed into the field, it was doing a delete and write. This problem did not occur on the state estimated tax payments or on any other screen I encountered
