Deductions & credits

Trying to enter estimated taxes paid in 2020 (1040ES) so that I can get credit for the payments. However, when I get to that section of my return it does not allow me to make an entry. The screen becomes blank.

Thanks for the additional info.  I had also asked above if you are using Online TurboTax or the desktop software (CD/download).   If desktop Premier, what operating system--Mac or Windows, and what OS version?

Online and desktop versions have different navigation methods, so I'll assume you already know how to get to the proper interview.   If you are using desktop software, how are you making the entries--are you doing it in interview mode (step by step), or are you trying to do it in Forms Mode?

If using Online TurboTax, is the screen totally blank, or is it "stuck" with a spinning wheel like it is loading/buffering?

What is the screen you were on just prior to the blank screen?  i.e., what is it you clicked that then gave you the blank screen?   What navigation method were you using to get to the estimated tax payments section?  There are several different ways to get there.    I can tell you several methods, but I don't know if you are using Online Premier or desktop Premier.

The following info is for Windows desktop version:

If using Windows 10 version of the desktop software a blank screen can sometimes be due to a scaling setting or resolution setting.   However, a scaling/resolution issue is normally with a popup window, and estimated tax payments entry does not use a special window.

The following may or may not help in your case, but it's quick to try if you are using desktop software.

Windows settings>System>Display>Scaling

In Windows 10, try a scaling of 100%  (some people have it set higher).    If that doesn't make your estimated taxes screen display properly, then go back to the Windows Display settings and try a different screen resolution such as 800X600 or 1024x768.
