I went to the IRS website and applied for a payment plan. It was accepted and said it would start up to 8 weeks after the taxes were filed. So now back in Turbo Tax. Which option do I use to file since I already set up the payment plan? I do not want to mess this up and end up with two payment plans.
So in turbo tax should I chose the file now pay by check option, so the taxes get filed and the IRS starts the payment plan I set up on their web site?
Should I just use the set up payment plan in Turbo Tax and not worry about the plan I already set up on the IRS web site? Is there a way to cancel the plan I already set up so I can just do it thru Turbo Tax?
Sorry if I made this more confusing than I should have.

Yes, If you already requested and set up a payment plan on the IRS website, then you will select file now, pay by check option at the end of your return with TurboTax.
No, you would not set it up through TurboTax. TurboTax doesn't actually set up the payment plan or have any involvement in it other than transferring the paperwork that you fill out to the IRS. There would be no reason to do it through TurboTax if you already did it on the IRS website.

You have two options, you can pay as much as you can through direct debit from your bank and e-file your tax return.
The other option is to select to pay the taxes owed with a check and e-file your tax return. Then never send a check.
You can also use the IRS payment website to pay any taxes owed. If you do use this option then for your tax return use the option to pay by check and never send a check since you have made payment on the IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/payments
