I had this same problem last year and it happened again twice today: Sign onto Turbotax. Click on Help. An Intuit Assist window opens to enter a question. If the results are not helpful you are given an option to Visit the Turbotax Community and it allows you to enter a question from the Assist window and click Submit to post it. Then a final screen comes up to tell you to check your email for a link to your question. No such email was received and the question didn't seem to post anywhere.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Oddly----there have been posts from your username jdefl4444 appearing in the user forum for several years.
Here are some of them.

Yes, I have been able to post questions by other means. It's posting questions from within the "Intuit Assist" help window that has not worked.
Same question and just to pile on... the community is extremely frustrating. On one hand, when I figure out the minefield of how to actually post a question - re: OP's post... go to help, get the assistant, ask a question, get suggested to access the community, never get to the community. When I occasionally somehow get to post a question via tons of blind steps and absolute luck - I get fantastic replies and results - yay community ! BUT, it takes forever to get to the community and figure out how to actually post a question. For one, I'm on the US community site and keep getting advised to go to the Cdn community site, but when I get to the Cdn site it's just a home page with some snappy topic titles and tips, nowhere to post questions. The only way I seem to get anywhere is to go back to the same questions I previously posted on the US community site and link around and get to either posts like this where I can jump on board as a reply or luck into a way to post. Why have a bloody community if it's so hard to post questions.
Rant over, sorry OP. TurboTax, get your act together and make access easier or don't tease us with a community.
OK rant now over 😉
