I've never noticed it before when doing my taxes on TurboTax and want to make sure I understand why it popped up. Note: I did not receive a 1099-G.

No. If you used standard deduction for 2023 you do not have to enter the state refund amount.

I have a friend receiving a tax refund loan within a week, in time for Xmas. They base her loan off of last years return. Does Turbo tax offer anything like this?
