How do I report gambling loses if I don't itemize deductions?

You can't. You may deduct gambling losses only if you itemize your deductions on Schedule A (Form 1040) and kept a record of your winnings and losses. The amount of losses you deduct can't be more than the amount of gambling income you reported on your return.

Gambling losses have no effect if you cannot itemize deductions.   But your winnings are taxable income whether you itemize or use standard deduction.

Gambling winnings are taxable income.  Losses are an itemized deduction.  If you do not have enough itemized deductions to exceed your standard deduction, your losses will have no effect.
