I had to file Form M1PRX (Amended Minnesota Property Tax and Renter’s Refund) for years 2019-2022. Why did TurboTax not ask me if I was disabled?
I receive SSDI and TurboTax knew this. Had I not discovered the error, I would have missed the disability credit all these years and continued to do so. Why did TurboTax not ask me if I was disabled in Form M1PR?

If your only income is SSDI then you had no income tax return to file for the state or feds so that question would not be asked at all. The MN credit form is filed independently of the income tax return and can be done for free on the MN website here :
You can file your M1PR free of charge at the MN Dept. of Revenue Property Tax Refund site, and if you're a homeowner, you can e-file it through the MN DOR's Property Tax Refund Online Filing System.

My disability allows me about ten hours a week in self-employment earned income, so I do file taxes. The software still did not ask me the question, which is on the M1PR.

Please skip the TT program and file for free on the MN website.
