For a tax due like on your 2020 or prior return?  No.  Or did you send in estimated payments?

What you pay on a prior year federal balance due may be deductible on the state return ... if so it will be entered in the state interview when prompted.   If you paid a prior year state balance due that is entered in the federal section but is only deductible if you can itemize deductions.

There are six states that allow you to enter the federal tax you paid on your state return--Alabama, Iowa. Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, and Oregon.  If you are filing in one of these states watch for the deduction when you prepare your state return.
