I recieved my New Mexico stae refund but still waiting on my federal which doesnt have an extimated refund date yet. Any idea why?
Only the IRS can answer your question. TurboTax only "e-files" it to the Federal and to the states. Turbotax cannot predict when you will receive your federal refund. The IRS "Where's My Refund" status tracker is still having problems.
Turbo tax sucks this year!!! It’s been over 21 days!! Cant
reach anyone!!! They just keep sending me to the same circle over and over!!! No answers from anyone and then I paid for direct deposit and state tax was mailed??? Dumb!!

There is no fee for direct deposit. The vast majority of folks choose direct deposit. The only extra fees are if you chose the option to pay your TurboTax fees out of the Federal refund, which has a $40 service fee ($45 for California filers), or if you chose the MAX Benefits package. The most common of those is choosing to pay one's TurboTax fees out of the Federal refund.
Not all states offer direct deposit for a state refund. If your state does offer direct deposit, and if you indeed chose for your state refund to be direct-deposited, and it was instead mailed, then only the state tax agency can tell you why. It's possible for a bank to refuse a direct deposit, in which case they send it back to the state tax agency, which mails a check.
If your efiled Federal return was accepted, what have you found when you use the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool to check on your Federal refund? Or is not finding your info?
If it has been over 21 days since your efiled return was accepted (check at the Tax Home in your account to be sure it was accepted), you can phone the IRS to inquire about the delay. I'll tell you how to reach a live agent at the IRS.
IRS: 800-829-1040 (7AM-7 PM local time) Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do not choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
Update: Sorry for the late update. A few days ago I did check turbotax to check on the status of my filings. It turns out both were accepted according to turbotax. It looks like it's true because I did get my refunds from irs and state a few days later. The odd thing is I never got a notification from intuit that my federal had been accepted. Just a heads up in case anyone else is worried about a lack of response. It might just be the email was never sent.
My return said it was accepted but now it says still pending why is that?
Have you tracked the status of your state return on Indiana Department of Revenue Refund Status Service's website?
Yes it was accepted and prossesing then afterwards my bars went away and said still pending and would let me know of any updates.
My bars finally went away and I was finally able to get through to the IRS. They are double checking my return for accuracy and I’ll hear something in 10-12 weeks. Let that settle in. 10-12 weeks. And it’ll be by letter, or they’ll release the return and I’ll get my refund.

Did you file a "paper" return ? Or did you e-file it?
I filed my return
I did talk to them finally. And they said they couldn’t give me any answers. It was “under review.” She didn’t know anything but it could take 10-12 weeks??? No EIC, only 1 check stub, no extra filings??? It’s crazy!! It’s like they need every excuse to hold our returns this year.
E filed
Well, perhaps the reason the IRS is saying it will take 10-12 weeks is so that they can hold on to your money (refund) longer and keep their pockets fuller. There's no rhyme or reason to it other than that (that I can think of) !! I'm just thankful to the Lord that I was able to efile on Feb 11 and got my Federal refund on Feb 16.
