I filed taxes last year (2020) with TurboTax Deluxe and needed to file both Colorado and Tennessee state taxes. When I installed TurboTax 2021 Deluxe it automatically installed both Colorado and Tennessee states. How do I remove Colorado from TurboTax 2021?

You do know that TN has no state income tax, right?

There is no tax on general income, but Tennessee does impose a state tax on interest and dividend income in excess of $1,250.
The question still stands: "How do I remove Colorado from the installed states?"
No---not for 2021.

The Tennessee Hall Tax for reporting interest and dividends was repealed for tax year 2021 and all future tax years.
Go to this Tennessee website for information - https://www.tn.gov/revenue/taxes/hall-income-tax.html#:~:text=It%20was%20enacted%20in%201929,or%20af....
Are you using the CD/download? And want a refund for installing CO? You need customer support.
No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”

Thank you, this the repeal of the Hall Tax is great news.
However, the question still stands, but is expanded: "How do I remove states (Colorado and Tennessee) from TurboTax?"

@xmasbaby0 gave you the link for how to contact TurboTax support for Billing Issues. The state returns cannot be deleted from the TurboTax program, but you can get a refund for the amount you paid for the state programs.
Thank you. I was not billed, so there is no need to request a refund; Tennessee is the primary state, Colorado was the secondary, which I did not purchase this year.
It's good news that I do not have to file Tennessee tax as I cannot start State Tax prep as Colorado was automatically installed from prior year and attempting to start the Tennessee state tax takes me to the Purchase Additional States process; I cannot progress beyond the purchase process without purchasing Colorado even if I wanted to. The ability to uninstall a prior state seems missing feature that needs to be added to the software as the presence of a prior installed state throws the software into a bug/infinite loop that cannot be gotten around.

I misspoke slightly in my last. You cannot remove a state program but you can remove a state tax return.
Click on the File menu at the top left of the desktop program screen. Click on Remove State Return.
Understood and thank you. I am looking to remove a State Program that is no longer needed. I needed Colorado last year, but not this year and Colorado was automatically installed when TT 2021 was installed.
I have the same question. I want to remove New York from my version of Turbtax - and New York definitely has an income tax! I filed in New York one time about 3 years ago. Seem to me it should be simple to do.
If you are using the desktop version, please follow the instructions here to remove a state tax return.
If you are using the online version, please follow the instructions here to contact us by phone. @SchedBer
I find the answer I get from Intuit VERY poor.
They tell you how to remove state forms, but do not provide a way to permanently remove a state program from download / updates etc. This even carries forward to the NEXT year too!
I have seen others suggest very complicated ways to remove AppData files etc. but unwanted states still appear.
Intuit really needs to add a choice to cleanup and permanently remove a state.
The "customer service" is a bunch of 3rd party hired folks who just read a script and cannot do more than that.
Tennessee has a Hall Income Tax for one more year (1% tax on dividends and interest). Turbo Tax is not allowing the Tennessee form to be downloaded which it did last year when there was a 2 percent tax.
