Thank you for this answer. It worked perfectly for me. I was having the same issues described in the main question and my State taxes e-file keep looping around the same page no matter how many times I checked. It took the entire evening for trying to find a solution and boy I finally found it. Strange that TurboTax has not fixed this old bug yet and wish I had found this solution earlier. But thanks!!

None of these suggestions have worked for me. VA requires efile and i cannot get my business return to transmit. I am not able to create the 502A at all. I'll call VA taxation tomorrow and will never use this product again, very frustrating and stressful trying to get this filed!

When Mike said Create the 502A Incorrectly - it means checking boxes that don't even apply to you.

Then delete the 502A

It does work.. but it is a shame that this e-filing BLOCKAGE exists. In fact I had to create a false 502A twice and delete twice before I got a transmit!

I am having the same problem this year with TurboTax Business 2022. It double checks, says everything is fine, but always comes back to the scree saying it needs information that it didn't need earlier and requires the check to be run again. Both the federal and state forms are error free. I do not see form 502A in the list of forms avaiable.

Great answer. I spent hours and found this method by trial and error (before seeing this post). So this problem has been going on for YEARS! and stupid intuit turbotax scum cannot fix it???

I wish i started with another software package. It's a pain to migrate prior year data to new software.
