thank you thank you thank you!!! This happened to me and your fix worked like a charm!!! I wish I had searched before wasting so much time trying to figure out what else was wrong. perfect fix thank you.
Sir - you are a true American hero! Thank you so much for posting this - really can't express how happy i am to find this and now be done!
Bravo and may the wind always be at your back
Holy Moly Hallelujah--THANK YOU!!!!
UPDATE - 502A was deleted. But filing was still blocked.
Got Help from SUPPORT and we could not find 502A - We recreated a bogus form and then deleted that 502A version. So we had killed 502A - ONCE MORE!
Moved to closure and BANG the file was transmitted.
What is the problem with Turbo Tax / Intuit? Don't they even test or update their product??? Just grab out money and don't fix WIDESPREAD bugs.
Same problem - huge time waster. I can't believe this bug is coming up again this year. What a bunch of idiots.
What was the fix for CA?
Are you still having an issue with your return or were you able to get it resolved?
I have the same issue with my California return. Any solutions?
Are you using Turbo Tax Online or Turbo Tax Desktop @Wenhao0519 ?
Turbo Tax Business Desktop
I have been using TurboTax Business for 14 years and got into this loop while trying to do PTE for 2021 (VA)- I spoke to Tax Specialist @Turbotax and he could not figure this out. I am glad came across original post in this thread - deleting 502A and trying again worked.
Too bad same issue repeats this year as well and TurboTax is not doing anything to fix it.
As mentioned below, I'm having the same issue for California. Does anyone know the specific form that might be causing that error?
We are unable to see your return to view what form is causing the error @esseffwines. Please follow the instructions here, so we can speak with you by phone and have the ability to look over your return.
Carissa, you can review this post for the specific error occurring now on CA submissions:

Thank you so much! It fixed my issue.
For those having the same issue on your CA return, if the issue is caused by the Form 568 Line G, you could go back to your Fed return and the Balance Sheet tab, and when the TT asks "Do you want to skip this section?", choose "No" and continue and complete your balance sheet. This should fix the issue.
