I entered the purchase information for an extra state tax Turbo Tax software and when I hit the button to proceed Turbo Tax gave no indication there was a problem. When I attempted to use the extra state software, it indicated that I need to purchase it again. How do I know I am not getting double billed?

From your TurboTax Account:
Follow the directions in this article to download and install the software you purchased at TurboTax.com. After installing the state program, you'll see the state(s) on the State tab when you open your return in TurboTax.

I followed the directions provided to add my one free state on Premier and purchased an additional second state. Turbotax seems to think I received both states and the start button for each appears on the screen. We even received a Turbotax email acknowledging our purchase of the second state. However, when I push the start button for either state, I getting a message that Turbotax is "Getting your state" and then tells me "Your software is up to date." However, the State section does not open. Any suggestions on how to make it work?
If you can find the TurboTax state program on your computer, probably in your downloads file, you can click on it and that should make the file boot up your TurboTax program with the state program installed. You need to make sure you don't have your TurboTax program up and running when you do this, however.
The state program will be called "Individual (name of state)" in case you need to search for it.
I have come to a place where I need to pay for a state of Iowa income tax. I paid 48.15 on Mar 3, but it is for Minnesota and I don't need it. How can I get the Iowa one?
My screen shows that I should be able to get that for 2$25. What's going on?
