NJ E Filing Error Message

They answered me today with a non-answer!!  And it is the same thing that has been written in this thread for over a month now. Here it is and it makes no sense. What am I going to do, erase NJ and re-enter everything. This is just incompetence by TT.

There was a recent New Jersey update that may be affecting you.

If you're using TurboTax Desktop, make sure your program is updated (Online menu at top). 

If you're using TurboTax Online, you can try closing the program, clear your Cache and 

Cookies and revisit your NJ return. 

Some users have suggested Deleting the State Return and starting over with the NJ interview.

I did remove NJ state return and restart everything... but still can not efile!!! hate TurboTax now.

also I did call TT customer service. I had to share my screen with TT rep who took a look and said she is working on it, then she disappeared. I had to hang up after 30 min idle time on the phone with her.

turbo tax sucks this year

filed my NJ taxes, got my refund

but can't download my paper work,

now a friend called and he got his

after the call, I called and they were no help 

after over a hour on the phone

Try this procedure -

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2021 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

I E filed my NJ taxes, got my refund but can't download my paperwork, on the phone for over a hour and no help.

my friend called and after his call he got to  download his paperwork.

turbo tax sucks this year

maybe H &R  Block next year, same as turbo tax

My NJ tax return keeps getting denied because it says i didnt input my property tax lot # which i did. Anyone have that issue.

I had no prob, but now have the same issue after updating the software. TT sucks this year.

Today March 28, 2021 I got the latest TT updates (I use the CD version). It said it was updating NJ, but when I went to file my NJ return, again TT would not allow me.  I am very disappointed in TT and will be using another program next year.

Not sure the fault is with TT. I use same set up and got same message concerning missing form. After a few days I was able to file. Received my Fed and State refund. Fed was exactly what I was expecting but NJ direct deposit was significantly less than the form showed. Called and actually talked to a rep for NJ who said I had taken something as credit against retirement income that was not allowed. Went back to form and was not able to understand error. Called to make appointment for explanation but asked for copy of their calculations before setting up appointment. Received copy in 3 days but was in computer form and did not match up so I set it aside to come back and look again. A few days later I received a paper check for the missing amount with the explanation that my bank numbers were incorrect so I was receiving a paper check. My original refund was by direct deposit so I know the bank numbers were OK. Haven't worked it all out but I got back exactly what TT said so I am not pursuing it further. Good luck. I have been using TT for over 25 years and expect to use it again next year. The customer service people from NJ were very polite and seemed to be very willing to help but I'm still not sure what the guy behind the curtain was doing. (Maybe he was the wizard.)
