I am getting an error message when attempting to file a NJ-1040. It says that "returns with pass through business alternative income tax credits are not eligible for electronic filing"
The return in question has so such credit - is anyone else seeing a similar issue?
Thank you

Yes, I have the same issue
Me too!! Was just going to post this same issue.
I am getting the same error message.
Pass-Through Business Alternative Income Tax Credit
I am also getting NJ State efile prohibition because of this
Th, Feb 17th
I filed Federal a few days ago and my NJ was held up due to NJ-DOP not available until today. I downloaded upgrades and was told my NJ could not be filed electronically due to "Returns with pass through business alternative income tax credit not eligible for electronic filing". TT Premier does not explain this at message delivery point and is it valid?
It appears that if you ignore this message, you can still file NJ electronically.
I also waited until the NJ-DOP was released and then ran into the e filing issue this morning.
It is unclear if this is a State of NJ issue or a TT issue. Trying to get in touch with someone at TT to see if there is any additional information they can provide
I did ignore it and went through the process, paying for NJ efiling. It charged my credit card, then told me I couldn't efile because of that form, which is not part of my return.
Didn't wotk....
Didn't work..
I paid $20 for NJ eFile and go all the way thru and it just won't efile...
Same result - $20 charged but no success
I sent this issue(with screenshot) to Turbotax support via Twitter-- I will let everyone know if I hear anything.
Got the same message after Turbotax software updates today (02/17/2022). I don't own a business, never have.
Couldn't find any NJ form that relates to this. What is triggering this message? What's the deal Turbotax?
