Federal return was able to transmit but not my Indiana state return. After paying the $25 fee via credit card, I hit the transmit buttom, clocks for two seconds and nothing. No error message, nothing.
Any idea how to fox this?

Has your federal return been accepted?
I was able to submit the federal return but not the Indiana state return.
And yes, federal return was accepted.
If your federal tax return was accepted and not just submitted, you should be able to transmit your state tax return. Please check and see if any of the forms within your return are preventing the e-file: State Forms Availability
If you are using a desktop version of TurboTax, please force an update to ensure you have the latest forms available. Force Manual update for TurboTax Desktop
If you are using an Online Version of TurboTax, please clear cookies and/or try a different browser. To learn how to delete your cookies, please see the TurboTax FAQ here.
same issue here....
desktop version turbotax is up to date
federal return was submitted and accepted without issues several days ago
when I click on the orange Transmit Return Now button for the Indiana State return, it starts loading for a few seconds, then stops, no errors, just doesn't go to next confirmation screen
FIX YOUR SOFTWARE
No. No. No.
Why are you sending me a link to useless solution. Did you not read?
I am using DESKTOP SOFTWARE version. Why are web browser cookies and pop up blockers relevant?
My Federal return was transmitted without issues. It's the State return that has an issue. You can't possibly think that BROWSER COOKIES are preventing one but letting the other transmit.
Why did turbo tax charge me a state return filing fee BEFORE successful transmission and not AFTER.
Which Indiana form are you trying to submit?
What do you mean which form? I'm tryin to e-file the entire Indiana State income tax return along with whatever default forms come with it, using Turbo Tax Premier desktop version
I believe Form IT-8453-OL, Declaration of Electronic Filing is causing an issue when attempting to e-file State of Indiana tax return via Turbo Tax. I found a Turbo Tax link that shows all Indiana forms, and this particular one it's showing as unsupported.
The problem is that this form appears to be mandatory for e-filing. So this sounds like a circular reference error at this point.
The software won't let me delete this form.
Agreed! I spent 3 hours on the phone last weekend with tech support, we did every browser clean up, cookies, cache fix. We manually updated the software. We uninstalled and reinstalled the software. This is a TurboTax Desktop issue with the state of Indiana transmitting. I was able to get the state e-file fee returned back to me.
I just did more updates and tried again. Still doesn't work - just a loop of some sort.
Please fix the software!
I have e filed my federal return and it is accepted. When I now try to e file my Indiana state return the TurboTax software will not transmit it. Is there a software glitch? What should I do?
Are you receiving a specific error message when trying to transmit your state return?
I am experiencing the same problem and also spent hours on the phone with Intuit last weekend. I saw another thread where the person experiencing the problem had foreign tax credits on his Federal return which I also do. Does anybody with this transmission problem also filing foreign tax credits?
