On my 1040 schedule 1 line 8z it is now labeled CA payment 700 and the next line it says CA payment - general welfare exclusion -700. So a net 0.
Nope. Didn’t accept mine. I have been rejected four times. Tried all suggestions
Absolutely- who will pay us the interest on the expected returns while TT takes its sweet time to fix it? Absolute disregard - cannot even provide an expected resolution date. Not going to use next year. Too much time spent to keep reviewing and retransmitting “thinking” issue is fixed since 1/27 is the “could be fixed by” date, which frankly I am seeing for the first time in my life.
It will still reject the return, I have talked to several turbo tax reps and they don't think they can fix this issue and advised me to mail my returns. Great, I pay turbo tax so I can efile and now I have to mail it in, guess I'll get my refund in a year. Is it possible to get a refund from turbo tax?
Just lol.
Wow - also having the same issue. Has anyone been able to successfully transmit their returns???
It's not possible to get a refund. They will just lie and blame this on Fed and what not, but won't issue a refund. Definitely not using them again, ever.
Looks like my software updated and I was able to file successfully. Go back and edit the entry, it will then prompt you to claim income as CA Middle Class Tax Credit as one of the choices.
Did it pass the 15 mins period? Because still fix my return states the following - shifting the date to 01/30:
We've identified an issue in your federal tax return. This issue is being resolved in a product release scheduled for January 30th, 2023. On or after January30, 2023. you'll need to sign into TurboTax, complete a quick review (steps below), and resubmit your return.
Thank you! I will try again. Hopefully it will go through. 🤞
I just tried again and still rec’d a rejection. Did you actually get an acceptance?
I am thinking of disputing the charge and file manually.
Maybe we should all file with a different company that doesnt have this issue so we can actually file!
Yes
if it’s stating non taxable for federal why is it still deducting tax amount from my refund?
