Yes, you should file a tax return to get a refund of the taxes withheld. When completing your tax return you Must indicate on the tax return that you can be claimed as a dependent.
I did indicate that I am claimed as a dependent, but it says my refund is zero because my amount earned is less than the standard deduction. So does that mean I don't get the federal back that was withheld?
Did you enter the federal tax withholding from your W2 box 2? You only get box 2 back. Not boxes 4&6. The withholding will show up on 1040 line 25a. Maybe it says your tax on line 24 is zero not your refund. A refund is on line 35a.
I will check it out. but Yes, I entered everything as the W-2 indicated. Federal withholding should be 227.06 refund, but it says federal refund is zero.

Look at your From 1040 Line 35a for the federal tax refund. The federal taxes withheld will be shown on Line 25a and the total payments made shown on Line 33.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
Did you enter anything else on your return? Like any 1099 Forms? I would delete that W2 and enter it again Manually, don’t import it. That usually fixes it.
Thank you!
