Calif "Review" gets stuck in a loop

Entering "Review" tab, the following happens:

1. Screen "Let's make sure your taxes are correct" -> press "Continue" button

2. Screen shows progress bar "Analyzing"

3. Screen "Let's finish your California taxes first" -> press button "Let's finish CA now"

4. Screen "Let's work on your state refund" -> press "Continue" button

5. Screen "State Return" - California is shown and "Done with States" button is pressed

6. Loops back to item 1. above.

My recollection is from past tax years is that after item 5, there should be a result of the review.

Am I not doing this correctly or is there a workaround for this?

Are you filing using the online or desktop version?

Desktop version on an iMac running macOS Monterey v 12.6.3

Please follow the workaround here to resolve the looping issue. I know these are showing for Windows, however, if you follow this guide here, it can help for the Mac.
