1040-SR, line 2b should be the total of all taxable interest income. Line 2a, should be the total of all tax-exempt interest income.
These lines should equal the sum of all interest income, which is usually the sum of all your Forms 1099-INT.
If it does not match, recheck your data entry for all your 1099-INT forms and recheck your verification arithmetic. That should help you find the discrepancy.
All this assumes you did not have other sources of interest. If you did, be sure to include those.
Interest can come from other places like a K-1 or 1099Div. Did you import any 1099 forms from your broker, fund, or bank?
