We own 2 houses one in Texas which is up for sale and bought a house in new mexico last july, we are retired and withdrew moneys to payoff both houses...tax break?

we own one home in Texas that is for sale. last July we bought a home in New Mexico, we withdrew money from our 401 K to payoff both home (at a very high tax rate) we are retired and wanted to know if there is any tax break for our circumstances?  Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, there is not special tax deductions given the situation you described, and your being at retirement age.
