You tell the software that you do not have a W-2, and move on to the other income sections that are appropriate for your sources of income. If an old employer transferred over from 2024, delete them.

Do you have Social Security?

Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

Software update 1/21 for 1099R

To enter your retirement income, Go to Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA 401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.

Any other sources of income--like investment income, rental income, etc etc. etc?
