Iam adding in daughters info and she’s a minor also but the state doesn’t show in drop down box and can’t manually type it in what do I do? Thxs

Are you in My Info?    All of the states should show up in the drop downs for My Info.  What state?

Tennessee is the state only show Texas

Look above TX for TN   --- it is there.

If you are entering her W-2 and her income was from a Tennessee employer you do not complete boxes 15 through 20 on the W-2, leave those boxes empty (blank) since Tennessee does not have a personal income tax.

What are you adding?   Are you adding your daughter to your tax return as a dependent or do you mean you are preparing a tax return for her because she has a W-2?

If it is the latter, then TN will not appear in the drop down for states for a W-2.  Leave boxes 15, 16 and 17 blank.
